The initial screen has the time in analog - the colour of each clock arm also represents the battery state as follows - so no excuse for not noticing that your watch battery is low!

70-100 green

50-70 yellow

30-50 orange

15-30 red

5-15 dark red (centre dot)

0-5 all dots grey

Tap the arrow in the bottom right corner to display the time (far left) and all of your detailed stats. Tap the same spot to return to the analog screen.

When on the stats screen, change the direction of the time, whether you wear your watch on your left or right hand.
