Sette e Mezzo / Half past seven

is a classic Italian game.

It is played with a deck of 40 cards 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, J, Q, K for each of the 4 suits.

In this version, proposed by LuCas, you play alone against the dealer. The aim is to get the highest score without exceeding 7.5 points.

Figures (J, Q, K) are worth half a point and the others their face value.

There is a special card (joker) called Matta. Represented by the Woman of Hearts. This card can take the

value that is most needed, but only whole points or half a point.

If the score is equal, the dealer wins.

The 7.5 made with only two cards (also with the Matta) is called Reale. Wins on 7.5 made from multiple cards.
